A friendly model flying club within easy reach of St Albans, Redbourn, Harpenden, Markyate and surrounding areas

First affiliated in 1947 we are the oldest club known to the BMFA (SMAE)
Our main activities are flying radio controlled fixed wing fun, sport and scale aircraft. We can train novice members up to BMFA and help with training novice members up to BMFA “A” test level, a requirement to fly solo at our site.
Other area of interest include glider slope soaring, bungee and electric-launched gliding, helicopters, EDF jets, and vintage model aircraft. In addition, there is a free-flight and indoor flying program during the winter months at a local sports hall.
